A dream assignment would be shooting a cover / cover story for The FADER. All the photographers whose work I admire and look up to have shot cover stories for The FADER at one point. I feel like over time it has inadvertently become a young photographer’s rite of passage.
If I could photograph Afro-Latinx folx and my family’s home country of Panama for the rest of my life, I would. To be commissioned to document Panama and Afro-Panamanian people like me, all while learning about our history in a place that I consider to be my home… what could be better?
